Background
Cambio De Sentido is a Madrid-based visual and audio arts production company that relies heavily on Promise Technology products. Pegasus32 and more recently, Pegasus M4 are essential components of their on-site and post-production creative activities.
Bosco Martín Barrajón and Alfonso González of the Madrid-based Cambio De Sentido (CDS) production company had been long-time PROMISE customers before deciding to purchase the Pegasus M4, so a hard sell from local reseller Compolaser, one of the most experienced Apple resellers in the local market, was not necessary. With the recommendation from Compolaser, the CDS team were eager to see how the extremely compact M4 could enhance their workflow while away from the full post-production setup available in their office.
Challenge
Cambio De Sentido (CDS) faced a significant challenge in their production workflow. While their office studio was well-equipped with Pegasus32 R8 units and Pegasus32 R4 units paired with Mac Studios, they needed a portable solution for their outdoor film projects. The team required a compact, high-performance storage solution that could be easily transported and set up in various locations to facilitate on-site post-production work. Additionally, the solution had to seamlessly integrate with their existing setup and provide the speed and reliability necessary for editing 4K ProRes 422 and Blackmagic RAW (BRAW) footage without any interruptions.
