PROMISE Technology Partners with Leaders throughout the Media and Entertainment Ecosystem at IBC 2015

Highlights Include Solution Demonstrations with Partners and Presentations from the Industry’s Most Innovative Companies and Creative Professionals

HSINCHU, Taiwan, and SON, The Netherlands, September 1, 2015PROMISE Technology Inc., a recognized global leader in the storage industry, announced that it will be highlighting its portfolio of storage solutions supporting the entire rich media workflow, from ingest and editing to delivery and long term archiving, at the 2015 IBC Show in Amsterdam, from September 11-15 (hall 6, booth C10/11).  In addition to showcasing the PROMISE VTrak A-Class with NAS Gateway, Pegasus2 R2+, SANLink2 16G, Vess R2600 PRO, and VTrak J5000, PROMISE is hosting a series of powerful presentations and hands-on demonstrations from innovative creative professionals and the industry’s leading companies, such as Adobe®, AJA, Archiware, Autodesk, Cantemo, HP, Intel, and more.

Live Hands-On Demonstrations
At PROMISE’s display, Autodesk will be performing live demonstrations of its 3D animation software, Maya®, with the footage shared amongst multiple clients via VTrak A-Class.  Adobe will showcase a live demo of Adobe Premiere® Pro CC (part of Adobe Creative Cloud®) and Cantemo will demo its Media Asset Management solution, Cantemo Portal™, combined with PROMISE storage.  AJA will be onsite showcasing its CION™ camera along with Pegasus Thunderbolt™ 2 storage and HP will demonstrate how its Z Workstations with Thunderbolt can be combined with PROMISE storage to create unbelievable editing systems.

Presentation Series
IBC brings together thought-leaders and innovators to discuss the challenges and technologies shaping the industry.  PROMISE’s display takes center stage as it will host a range of powerful presentations on the hottest topics in the industry.  Learn firsthand from Jason Ziller, Director of Thunderbolt Marketing, Intel Corporation, about Thunderbolt™ 3 and join Chris Kerker, HP Workstation Presales, as he introduces why so many creative professionals are turning to HP Z Workstations.  Andy Bellamy from AJA will present the company’s CION camera and showcase a Thunderbolt 2 workflow with Adobe, HP and PROMISE storage. 

Additionally, Alexander Meyers from Adobe will showcase what new features in Premiere Pro CC are important for video editors, while Marc Batschkus from Archiware will showcase why the company’s P5 software is one of the leading backup and archive solutions in the industry and how its pairs perfectly with PROMISE storage.  Finally, hear firsthand from creative professionals leading some of the top post production houses throughout Europe about how Pegasus2 storage and HP Z Workstations have revolutionized how they work.  Presentations run daily at the PROMISE booth from 10:30 – 16:30.

New from PROMISE at IBC
At IBC, PROMISE will showcase its complete line of storage solutions that support the entire rich media workflow.  In addition to showcasing its VTrak A-Class with NAS Gateway, PROMISE will feature several new solutions for creative professionals, including Pegasus2 R2+ RAID storage, which features two hot-swappable HDDs and Pods for convenient media exchange, and SANLink2 16G which connects Thunderbolt systems to a Fibre Channel SAN at 16 Gb/s speeds.  Additionally, attendees can get their first look at Vess R2600 PRO, a cost effective NAS for multi-user rich media compressed workflows and the VTrak J5000 Serieshigh-performance 12Gb/s SAS subsystems.  All of PROMISE’s storage solutions onsite at IBC are equipped with hard disk drives from Toshiba.
