The PROMISE VTrak J930s is an ultra-dense 6Gbps SAS 4U/60-bay expansion chassis that enables data hungry applications to massively scale in a dense amount of rack space without having to sacrifice valuable server real estate. The VTrak J930s is the perfect complement for rich media and post production professionals allowing them to fully exploit such critical tasks as archiving, nearline storage asset management, proxy editing, working with 10-bit uncompressed digital assets and working in 4k environments.

The VTrak J930s 4U/60 - bay ultra-dense enclosure delivers high performance 6G SAS with advanced enterprise level reliability and redundancy. Dual active-active JBOD I/O modules allow for redundant data paths to ensure data availability. Using the latest multi-lane 6G SAS host interface, the VTrak J930s has the available bandwidth and low latency to support all types of applications. The four physical ports per controller give the user flexible connectivity options. The VTrak J930s can be connected as an expansion chassis for VTrak x30 Series RAID subsystems or to SAS enabled servers. The J930s supports a flexible architecture that allows for connectivity to 6G and 3G hard drives and SSDs. Available with redundant active-active I/O modules, all models also feature fully redundant hot-swap power and cooling units that can deliver 90 percent power efficiency helping lower your carbon footprint. -
