HSINCHU, Taiwan, October 5, 2017 – Next week at the Broadcast India Show, leading rich media storage technology provider Promise Technology will introduce a new NAS solution designed for small groups of users editing 4k video- the Vess A3340 Pro. Promise will also be showcasing its Pegasus3, SANLink3 and VTrak A-Class shared SAN appliances at the show, which provide the ideal solution for the entire rich media workflow - from ingest and editing to delivery and processing. Demonstrations will take place in Promise’s booth (D-446) on the show floor at the Bombay Convention Center in Mumbai, India from October 12 - 14.

Promise’s demo highlights at Broadcast India include:
- Vess A3340 Pro: A NAS appliance with a shared file system ready-made for the rich media segment. A turnkey "NAS-in-a-box" solution, the Vess A3340 Pro integrates a 3rd party solution that supports high-speed caching, auto-tiering and more.
- Pegasus3: Utilizes Thunderbolt 3 technology to deliver blistering performance speeds for creative professionals working with high resolution video and rich media content. Promise’s new Pegasus3 family is available in 4-bay, 6-bay, and 8-bay configurations. The maximum capacity up is to 80TB (8x10TB).
- SANLink3: The soon-to-be-released SANLink3 16G Fibre Channel interface and SANLink3 NBASE-T Ethernet interface will be featured in the Promise booth. The bus-powered SANLink3 T1 model interfaces with a single Thunderbolt 3 port to a single NBASE-T Ethernet port, supporting 2.5, 5 or 10Gbps speeds. The SANLink3 16G FC interfaces with two Thunderbolt 3 ports to two Fiber Channel ports, all in a compact design.
- VTrak A-Class: A true “solution in a box” RAID storage subsystem, Promise’s VTrak A-Class offerings feature an integrated metadata appliance and embedded file system for big data, along with a NAS Gateway.
